Notice of Adopted Changes in the Regulations Dealing with Sheep and Goat Testing

Regulations dealing with Sheep and Goat Testing were adopted by the Department of Environmental Conservation on May 10, 2021, with an effective date of August 7, 2021. The regulations have been made permanent and have been filed by the Lt. Governor. The regulations will appear in Register 239, October 2021, of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations changes are summarized as follows:

The Animal Health regulations were amended to include new requirements for animal importation, changes to health certificates and certificates of veterinary inspections, goat and sheep testing, and disease reporting.

The following sections were amended:
18 AAC 36.015, 18 AAC 36.125, 18 AAC 36.135, 18 AAC 36.215, 18 AAC 36.500
