INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for McGrath Airport Snow Removal Equipment Building, Project Number AIP 3-02-176-007-2021 / CFAPT00626, will be received before 2:00 p.m., July 9, 2021 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to Demolish, Remove, and Dispose of the existing partially-demolished four-bay Snow Removal Equipment Building facilities and construct a new four-bay Snow Removal Equipment Building for the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities at the McGrath Airport as described in the Contract Documents. This project also includes a fuel tank relocation, new septic system, decommissioning of a Class V injection well, and any needed contaminated soil removal.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Project completion date will be November 30, 2022.

A virtual, non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday June 22, 2021 from 1:30-2:30pm. Please submit your name and email address to the Project Manager, eric.hershey@alaska.gov , 48 hours in advance in order to receive the link for the virtual meeting.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings.
