Proposed Activity:
Review of renewal application package for an Oil Discharge Prevention and Contingency Plan that is required to commit adequate resources to meet all planning requirements for prevention and response for a realistic maximum discharge from the operations of petroleum product transportation through waters of the State of Alaska using spot charter tank barges with volumes of 365,000 barrels for conducting ship-to-shore, ship-to-barge, and ship-to-ship transfer operations. Vitus Marine has a corresponding response planning standard of 54,750 barrels for non-persistent refined petroleum products namely; gasoline, aviation gas, jet fuels, and diesel fuels.
