SECOND INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EXAMINER (SIME) SELECTION PANEL
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The SIME selection panel, established under 8 AAC 45.092 to select physicians for the Alaska Workers' Compensation Board's list of second independent medical examiners, will meet on the following dates and times:
- Thursday, June 10, 2021 – 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
- Thursday, June 24, 2021 – 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
- Thursday, July 8, 2021 – 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
- Wednesday, July 14, 2021 – 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Due to concerns related to the COVID-19 public health disaster, the meetings will be held telephonically and by video conference.
The purpose of these meetings is for the panel of attorneys chosen by the Commissioner to vote on the inclusion, exclusion, retention, and removal of physicians from the Workers’ Compensation Board’s list of Second Independent Medical Evaluation physicians.
