The Director of the Division of Mining, Land & Water (DMLW) has approved the issuance of Millsite Lease ADL 233700 to Fairbanks Gold Mining, Inc. (FGMI), #1 Fort Knox Road, Fairbanks, AK 99712, operators of the Fort Knox Mine and nearby Gil Deposit.
The Millsite is located approximately 8 miles east of the Fort Knox Mine approximately 25 miles northeast of Fairbanks, Alaska. The Millsite location is in the Fairbanks Meridian, Township 001 North, Range 003 East; Sections 11 NW 1/4. Total acreage equals 174 acres.

This is a notice to the public. A person affected by this decision may submit an appeal within 20 calendar days after the date of issuance of the decision. Information for submitting an appeal per the requirements of 11 AAC 02, are in the Director’s decision. A copy of 11 AAC 02 may be obtained from any regional information office of the Department of Natural Resources. A request for reconsideration must include a $200 application fee.
