ADL 107311: Proposed tideland conveyance to City of Tenakee Springs

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

Requesting Input for a Proposed Tideland Conveyance:

 

Tideland Conveyance ADL 107311AS 38.05.035(e), AS 38.05.825

 

Comment Period Ends 5:00 PM, WEDNESDAY APRIL 14, 2021

 

This proposed project includes offering one parcel of State-owned tide and submerged land to the City of Tenakee Springs, pursuant to Alaska Statute (AS) 38.05.825 Conveyance of Tide and Submerged Land to Municipalities. The parcel is located within Tenakee Inlet and encompasses the existing small boat harbor.

 

Location: Located within DNR’s Southeast Region, the parcel is located on tide and submerged lands within Tenakee Inlet including Tracts A, B, C, and D of Alaska Tideland Survey No. 1304, according to the plat filed in the Sitka Recording District on July 28, 1986, as Plat No. 86-20, excepting therefrom Lot 5, Section 22, Township 47 South, Range 63 East, Copper River Meridian, Alaska, according to the plat accepted by the Bureau of Land Management on July 13, 1982, aggregating 19.528 acres, more or less.

 

Proposed Offering: Approximately 19.528 acres, final acreage will be determined by completing survey requirements.

Pursuant to AS 38.05.945 Notice, the public is invited to submit comment on the Preliminary Decision for which notice is being conducted concurrently. The deadline for public comment is 5:00 PM, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14, 2021. Only persons from whom DNR DMLW LCS receives timely, written comment during the identified comment period will be eligible to file an appeal of the Final Finding and Decision. If no significant change is required, the Preliminary Decision including any minor changes and a summary of comments and responses, will be issued as the Final Finding and Decision without further notice.
