The Department is soliciting for sealed bids to provide design and construction bids to make earthquake repairs as described within Section 01000 of the ITB. Location of work will be at the Goose Creek Correctional Center in Wasilla, Alaska. Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m. local time, March 12, 2021. Bids will be opened at 802 3^rd Street, Suite 224, Douglas, Alaska. Note that this may change due to COVID 19.  This will be a State and Federal funded project.

A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for this project. It is “Highly Recommended” that you attend the pre-bid site visit that is scheduled for March 5, 2021 at 10 A.M. local time at the Goose Creek Correctional Center in Wasilla, Alaska.  Please contact Scott Nichols, Project Manager, at scott.nichols@alaska.gov  to register and submit your request for security clearance forms. Bidders will need to submit a “Request for Clearance” form to access the facilities for each individual attending. This form is included in the bid documents.
