Notice of Utility Tariff Filings
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility (AWWU) filed TA168-122 and TA168-126, revenue requirement studies for its water and wastewater utilities, respectively, based on a 2019 test year.
With TA168-122, AWWU requests an across-the-board permanent rate increase of 2.0 percent to all water customers. A selection of the current and proposed water rates are shown below.

With TA168-126, AWWU requests an across-the-board permanent rate increase of 8.0 percent to all wastewater customers. A selection of the current and proposed wastewater rates are shown below.

AWWU requests that the proposed permanent rates take effect on April 1, 2021. Should the Commission determine to suspend TA168-122 and TA168-126, AWWU has requested interim rates, subject to refund, equal to the filed proposed rates.
This notice does not contain every revision proposed in either TA168-122 or TA168-126. The Commission may approve a rate or classification which varies from that proposed.
