NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

AMATS: Northern Lights Blvd – Minnesota Dr. to Seward Hwy Sidewalks
Design Services
RFP No. 25212036 

The Contractor shall provide professional design services to reconstruct the sidewalk and curb ramps in select areas that do not meet current standards. Other improvements may include lighting improvements, and utility relocation(s). Services include a Design Study Report, Public Involvement, Environmental Activities Support, Utility Agreement Support, Traffic Control Plan, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Plans, Specifications, and Estimates.  Assistance during bidding and construction, and design project closeout shall also be provided.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately January 2021 to January 2035.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available November 13, 2020, and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, AK at 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than December 7, 2020, 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.

Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTD number: (907) 269-0473, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
