Adopted Regulations of the Marijuana Control Board Filed by Lt. Governor - Sale Limits - Eff. 10.18.20

The Marijuana Control Board has amended its regulation regarding Sale Limits under 3 AAC 306.355 as follows:

3 AAC 306.355. Limit on quantity sold. (a) A retail marijuana store may not sell to

any one person per day

(1)  more than one ounce of usable marijuana;

(2)  more than seven grams of marijuana concentrate for inhalation; or

(3)  more than 5,600 milligrams of THC in combined sales of marijuana and marijuana products.

(b)  The limits set out in (a) of this section  include marijuana or marijuana product sold for onsite consumption under 3 AAC 306.370.


The Lieutenant Governor signed and filed the regulation on September 18, 2020, with an effective date of October 18, 2020.

The regulations will appear in Register 236, January 2021, of the Alaska Administrative Code. Moreover, updated regulations will be available on our website on October 18, 2020. For further questions, please email amco.regs@alaska.gov.
