The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities proposes to adopt regulation changes in 17 AAC 45 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with the establishment of Security Service Fee. This is a SUPPLEMENTAL PUBLIC NOTICE incorporating the contents of the original public notice of September 13, 2020. This SUPPLEMENTAL PUBLIC NOTICE is being issued so that the department may furnish additional regulations notice information under AS 44.62.190(d), and to extend the public comment period on the proposed regulations.

The comment period is being extended and comments must be received before 5:00 pm AKDST on October 22, 2020.

The language of the final regulations may be different from that of the proposed regulations. You should comment during the time allowed if your interests could be affected. Written comments received are public records and are subject to public inspection.  After the public comment period ends, the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities will either adopt the proposed regulation changes or other provisions dealing with the same subject, without further notice, or decide to take no action.
