Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and performing all work on Project No. AIP 3-02-0096-059-2020/NFAPT00483, FAI Runway 2R/20L Reconstruction, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, August 25, 2020, in the Office of the Contracts Engineer, Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska.

The project consists of decreasing length and repaving Runway 2R/20L from 6,500' x 100' to 4,500' x 75'.  Pavement sections with poor subsurface conditions will be reconstructed along with installation of new runway and taxiway lighting, relocate FAA navaids (REIL and PAPI's), repave Taxiway C and Q, shift and repave Taxiways R and S, and install a gate across Taxiway B.

Engineer's Estimate is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.

The project completion date is September 30, 2021.
