The Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) is seeking public comment on its proposed update to the CostFormat: DEED Standard Construction Project Cost Estimate Format.  This new edition is a major update to the publication, which was last updated in 2008. The previous publication version is available on the Facilities' website. Key revisions/additions to the publication include: 

• Re-establishes the publication as an estimate structure vs. an estimating template/tool
• Re-establishes a defined Level 3 Elemental Cost structure
• Fully aligns the Elemental Cost structure with the DEED Guide to School Facility Condition Surveys, 2020 Ed.
• Moves Site Work to section 01 of the Format from section 13
• Moves the publication’s platform from a spreadsheet to a word processing file
