Description:  This solicitation is intended to result in mandatory, multiple award term contracts to provide non-emergency Rural Air Carrier services for Medicaid recipients and establish compensatory rates for such services. Rates established as a result of this solicitation are not intended for non-scheduled charter services.

For the purposes of this contract, “rural” refers to travel between city pairs within Alaska, except between 1) Anchorage and Juneau and 2) Anchorage and Fairbanks.  Reservations will be booked by the State of Alaska in accordance with prevailing state travel policies.
