NOTICE OF INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT ADOPTED BY NEGOTIATION
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (Commission) gives notice that on May 1, 2020, GCI Communication Corp., d/b/a General Communication, Inc. and GCI (GCI) submitted for approval a negotiated wireless traffic exchange interconnection agreement (Agreement) between GCI’s affiliate, United-KUC, Inc. (KUC) and New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC d/b/a AT&T Mobility (AT&T Mobility). Docket No. U-20-016 was opened to address the matter.
The Agreement sets forth the terms, conditions, rates, and methodology for the exchange of traffic between the networks of KUC and AT&T Mobility. The Agreement was filed pursuant to Section 252 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended by the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Under federal law, the Commission must approve or reject a negotiated agreement within 90 days after its submission or the agreement shall be deemed approved.
