CONSTRUCTION INVITATION TO BIDS (ITB’s)

Sealed bids in single copy for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work on Project No. 0933047/SAMHS00084; JNU: Auke Bay Ferry Terminal Modifications & Improvements, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time May 21, 2020, at the Construction Contracts Office, 1st Floor, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska.

This project consists of offshore structural improvements and modifications to the existing stern berth facility in Auke Bay to accommodate the AMHS ACF ferry vessel and includes replacement of two stern fenders, removal of one existing 5-pile dolphin, and installing 3 new 5-pile floating fender dolphins. Work includes structural steel fabrication and installation, pile driving, pile tension anchors, and anode installation. 

The Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. All work shall be completed by April 01, 2021. This is a Race Neutral project as defined in Section 120 of the Specifications.

Bidding Documents are available for inspection at the office of the Regional Department of Transportation and Public Facilities offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.
