Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and performing all work on Project No. 0002468/NFHWY00511, Wendell Avenue Bridge Replacement, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, May 19, 2020, in the Office of the Contracts Engineer, Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska.
The project consists of replacing the Wendell Avenue Bridge #0532 and rehabilitating Wendell Avenue/Old Steese Highway between the Clay Street and 3rd Street intersections. Project improvements include pedestrian and bicycle facilities from the Graehl and Chena Riverwalk Parks to the new bridge. Project also includes roadside hardware, utilities, drainage and ADA improvements.
Engineer's Estimate is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000.
The project completion date is October 15, 2021.
