The Alaska Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault will hold two (2) Proposal Evaluation Committee (PEC) meetings to review proposals received in response to the Enhanced Services for Victims of Crime Request for Proposals (RFP).
- PEC #1 will be held January 14-15. PEC #1 will review all proposals received in response to Category 3—Child Advocacy Center Services.
- PEC #2 will be held January 16-17. PEC #2 will review all proposals received in response to Category 1—Legal Assistance Services and Category 2—Mental Health Counseling for children and youth.
Both PECs will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Day one of the PEC. The remainder of the schedule and process will be flexible depending on how the PEC process unfolds. We do not anticipated either PEC will take a full 2-days to conclude the review/recommendations of each application received. Each PEC is comprised of three PEC members selected for their knowledge and ability to review each proposal in a fair and unbiased way. The PEC members will score each application in advance of the PEC, scoring independently of other committee members. The PEC will then meet to further review each proposal and determine awards to recommend to the Council Board. Final grant awards will be approved by the CDVSA Board of Directors at a Special Board Meeting on January 23.
PECs are considered public meetings and may be attended either in person (space is limited) or via telephone at 800-315-6338, Passcode 23872. While the PEC is open to the public, public comment will not be taken, nor will public comment be allowed. PECs will take place at the CDVSA office, 150 Third Street, 2nd Floor Conference Room, Juneau, AK.
