RFP: CSAPT00314 / ANC Replace Transfer Switches

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Sealed proposals for ANC Replace Transfer Switches, Program CSAPT00314, will be received until 4:00 p.m., December 12, 2019 at the office of the Chief of Contracts, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project includes upgrading and replacing power transfer switches at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska.  Work includes interfacing new switches into an existing digital master controller, and adding a power command system in the North Terminal.  Two (2) owner desired enhancements that the contractor may choose to include in their proposal and bid price are described in the contract documents and includes replacing two more automatic transfer switches and installing a new docking switch.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.  All work shall be substantially complete within 180 calendar days of NTP for Basic Bid and Enhancements.

A work site visit has been scheduled during the advertising period on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm.  Meet at Room C3980, 5000 W. International Airport Road (Airport Design Office) to be escorted through the work area.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
