NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

SAExploration, Inc.
Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: SAExploration, Inc.
PROJECT NAME: LAS 30135
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
All state land on the North Slope between the Canning and Colville Rivers, including submerged lands, tidelands, and shore lands.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
All state land within the Umiat Meridian between the Colville and Canning Rivers.
REQUESTED ACTIVITY:
Ice pad construction and temporary storage, including travel on sea ice, over state tidelands (mean high tide to mean low tide) and submerged lands (mean low to 3 miles offshore).
This is a general permit and individual ice pad construction and storage activities will be reviewed and authorized on a case-by-case basis under the permit.
PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: January 1, 2020
End: December 31, 2025
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: November 22, 2019
The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Northern Regional Land Office, 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK 99709 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
