The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to amend the Premises of Lease ADA-07337 at Birchwood Airport by splitting the existing Lot 5C, Block 500 (comprising 56,105 sq. ft.) into two proposed parcels - Lot 5D, Block 500 (comprising 43,317 sq. ft.) and Lot 4D, Block 500 (comprising 12,788 sq. ft.). Applicant: Northland Hangars, LLC. Annual rent: $6,059.34. Authorized uses: Aeronautical. The authorized uses of Lot 5D, Block 500 will remain, "Maintenance and operation of a hangar with office and shop space, aircraft and vehicle parking, and aircraft tiedowns and storage, all in support of Lessee's commercial aircraft maintenance operation." The authorized uses of Lot 4D, Block 500 will be, "Maintenance and storage of Lessee's private aircraft, and related vehicle parking."

This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease amendment without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., October 22, 2019, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.
