NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Alaska System Security Plan
RFP No. 25202024

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional services to complete an airport security plan for the continuing Alaska Aviation System Plan (AASP). The services include: examining existing Category III airports and creating a comprehensive inventory of existing security measures and policies, a detailed gap analysis, public involvement and travel plan, and process and project recommendations that determine the type, extent, and location of future airport improvements across the state.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately November 2019 to November 2021.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500.000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available September 16, 2019 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the general vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than October 7, 2019, 4:00pm, prevailing time.
