Proposed Activity:
Review of a major amendment application package for an Oil Discharge Prevention and Contingency Plan covering operations of Petro Star Inc. Port of Alaska Terminal (PoA). The PoA Terminal is a finished fuel terminal located within the secure area of the Port of Alaska in Anchorage, Alaska. Terminal operations encompass shipping and receiving of refined petroleum products via marine vessels (tank ships and barges) and pipelines. Products that may be stored or transferred at the facility include AVGAS, gasolines, diesels, jet fuels, fuel additives, off-specification fuel and oily water. The amendment is related to the addition of a response scenario, the addition of a rail loading and unloading facility, various administrative updates, and the addition of an oil water separator and double-walled 20,000 gallon sump tank.
