NOTICE OF UTILITY APPLICATION
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that on April 12, 2019, JRK Group, LLC, filed an application for an Initial Finding of Public Convenience and Necessity for a New Public Water System. Docket No.
U-19-022 was opened to address this matter.
JRK Group, LLC intends to construct a water system for the Alpine View Addition 1 Subdivision. This subdivision is located outside of any water service area, near to and southwest of the intersection of East Tex-Al Drive and Palmer Fishhook Road. In its application, JRK Group, LLC states that it is not possible to connect to any municipal or other existing community system, and that private wells within the project boundaries have been poor performers and inconsistent; therefore JRK Group, LLC wish to construct community wells, water mains and service connections to provide water service to the Alpine View Addition 1 Subdivision. The Alpine View Addition 1 Subdivision will consist of 144 residential lots intended for single family dwellings.
No motions for waiver or petitions for confidentiality were filed with JRK Group, LLC’s application. The Commission has not assessed the completeness of the application. The Commission may determine whether the filing is complete by April 26, 2019.
