The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (Department) proposes to issue a license/permit to allow the use of a strip of land designated as Item 19 (ADA-06676) at Bethel Airport for fifteen years without fee. Applicant: U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Authorized uses: operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and removal of Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) equipment including, but not limited to: field sensor group(s), acquisition control unit, communications and peripheral equipment, antenna(s), and connecting cables together with electrical power for operation of the U.S. government-owned equipment.

This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed license/permit without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., February 28, 2019, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the license/permit.
