Request for Public Comments on the Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives, Tanana Community Hall Brownfield Revitalization, Tanana, Alaska

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is accepting public comments on the Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives for the Tanana Community Hall. The Tanana Community Hall is located at the intersection of First Avenue & Koyukuk Street in Tanana, Alaska.

The Tanana Community Hall site is contaminated with petroleum products. DEC is evaluating cleanup options for the site that would allow for safe reuse as part of a revitalization of the property to promote the expansion of the Tanana Community Hall

Please send comments to the attention of Lisa Griswold. Comments on the Analysis of Brownfield

Cleanup Alternatives will be accepted from February 20, 2019 through March 22, 2019 at 5:00 PM.

Comments may also be faxed to DEC at (907) 269-7687 or emailed to lisa.griswold@alaska.gov.

It is the responsibility of the commenter to verify facsimile and email submissions are received by the deadline. A public meeting to discuss the Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives will be held at the Tanana Community Hall on February 26, at 12 PM.
