Notice is given that the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC), under authority vested by AS 2.15.090(h), hereby gives notice to adjust the Customer Facility Charge that on-airport rental car concessionaires at ANC are required to collect from their rental car customers; and 2. in accordance with AS 02.15.090(i) to adjust the Facilities Maintenance Charge that on-airport rental car concessionaires at the ANC are required to collect from their rental car customers. The on-airport rental car concessionaires at the ANC will continue to be required to remit the collected CFCs and FMCs to the appointed trustee to pay debt service on bonds sold to finance construction of a consolidated rental car.
CUSTOMER FACILITY CHARGE (CFC): The Commissioner of the DOT&PF proposes to decrease the CFC rate from $5.25 to $4.50 per vehicle rental day.
FACILITY MAINTENANCE CHARGE (FMC): The Commissioner of the DOT&PF proposes to increase the FMC required to be collected from rental car customers at the ANC from $1.75 to $2.00 per vehicle rental day.
TOTAL COMBINED AMOUNT OF CFC AND FMC: The combined proposed CFC and FMC rate will decrease from $7 to $6.50 per vehicle rental day. The proposed adjustment is based on the Anchorage RAC, LLC's consultant's rate report dated December 19, 2018.
EFFECTIVE DATE and TERM: The proposed effective date of the CFC and FMC rate adjustments is on and after March 1, 2019. Collection of the CFC and FMC, as either may be adjusted in the future and will continue until the bond indebtedness is paid in full.
The rates set out above are new rates for the indicated uses and services at ANC. All other previously established rates applicable to the AIAS will remain unchanged unless otherwise noticed.
