NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Palmer Fishhook Road MP 7-17 Pavement Preservation Design Services

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional design services for the Palmer Fishhook Road MP 7-17 Pavement Preservation project. Expected features include: Resurfacing two lanes of undivided roadway on Palmer Fishhook Road, Roadside Hardware; Drainage Improvements; Digouts; and Pavement Markings. The design services include: Environmental Support Activities; Surveying and Survey Control; Design Study Report; Public Involvement; Erosion and Sediment Control Plan; Traffic Control Plan; Plans, Specifications, and Estimates; and Assistance During Bidding.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately April 2019 to April 2020.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available January 15, 2019 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the general vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received prior to February 5, 2019, 4:00pm, prevailing time.
