                                                  NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

                                                                      LAS 32574

Pursuant to AS 46.15 and rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, notice is hereby given that an application was received on September 4, 2018, (Priority Date), from Caelus Natural Resources, Alaska LLC, 3700 Centerpoint Drive, Suite 500, Anchorage, Alaska 99503 to appropriate water as follows:

To withdraw up to 12,990,000 gallons of water/or ice aggregate per year from January 1^st through December 31^st from a lake known as Lake K301, located within Section 11, T12N, R8E, Umiat Meridian. Water use is for Oil and Gas Exploration, Development, Operations and Maintenance activities, within the Kuparuk River Oil and Gas Leasing Unit and other lands onshore or offshore, (primarily Oooguruk Island) for up to thirty miles from the water take point.

The public is invited to comment on these actions. The Water Resources Section must receive comments in writing (including the name and mailing address of the commenter) by 5:00 p.m., October 31, 2018 at the above address to be considered. If issued, a permit may be extended for good cause shown, pursuant to AS 46.15.110 and 11 AAC 93.120(f), without additional public notice.
