Public Notice: Preliminary Decision
Material Site Designation ADL 233121
Federal Aviation Administration Material Sale ADL 233165
Pursuant to AS 38.05.945
Subject to Alaska Statutes 38.05.550-.565, the Southcentral Regional Office has made a Preliminary Decision to designate a Material Site on the avulsed tide and submerged lands at the north beach of Middleton Island (ADL 233121), and to offer the Federal Aviation Administration a Material Sale Contract (ADL 233165) at the ADL 233121 material site. The Preliminary Decision includes a draft Site Specific Area Plan and a draft Land Classification Order to classify the land at the material site. The proposed material site and sale are within Sections 5, 6, and 8, Township 28 South, Range 6 West, Copper River Meridian.
The public is invited to review and comment on this Preliminary Decision. A copy of the Preliminary Decision can be found at http://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/Default.aspx or is available in hardcopy upon request. Directions on how to comment are on page 8 of the Preliminary Decision. Written comments may be submitted to the above-listed mailing address, or by e-mail to linda.mueller@alaska.gov, or by fax to (907) 269-8913. All comments must be received in writing on or before 5:00 PM on August 20, 2018. Please reference ADL 233121 or ADL 233165 when commenting. To be eligible to appeal the Final Decision on this matter, under AS 38.05.035(i)-(m), a person must have submitted written comments during this comment period.
