Notice of Investigation to Revoke Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice of its investigation into possible revocation of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (Certificate) No. 479, which authorizes Alaska Call Connection, Inc. (ACCI) to provide intrastate interexchange telecommunications service within the state of Alaska. Docket No. U-18-055 was opened to address this matter.
Commission records indicate that ACCI has failed to make required filings, maintain its business license, and otherwise comply with Commission regulations. For these reasons, the Commission opened Docket
No. U-18-055 on its own motion to investigate the possible revocation of Certificate No. 479.
A hearing may be scheduled by the Commission in a future order to allow ACCI to challenge a possible revocation and to provide other interested persons an opportunity to comment publicly on whether the Commission should revoke Certificate No. 479. Should the Commission schedule a hearing, all interested persons will be invited to attend and make comments at the hearing. In the interim, comment may be made regarding the potential revocation or relinquishment of Certificate No. 479.
