Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: PEBBLE LIMITED PARTNERSHIP

PROJECT NAME: LAS 32283

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located on the Alaska Peninsula at Kamishak Bay near Amakdedori Creek.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Sections 23 & 26 of Township 10 South, Range 29 West, Seward Meridian.

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant is proposing to conduct a geotechnical survey of the proposed Amakdedori port site with a helicopter portable sonic type drill rig. The survey will include drilling up to 12 boreholes in sizes ranging from 2" to 8" in diameter and to an estimated depth of 100' to 200'.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: May 1, 2018
End: October 31, 2018

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.  To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity.  The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
