Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: Pebble Limited Partnership
PROJECT NAME: LAS 32282
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located on the Alaska Peninsula, approximately 2.25 miles north of Amakdedori Creek and three miles west of Bruin Bay.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: W1/2 Section 5, E1/2 Section 6, Township 10 South, Range 29 West, Seward Meridian
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant is proposing to temporarily install one helicopter portable skid mounted radio repeater station to bust radio signal and allow for safe operation of field crews in the area. The repeater station includes a radio antenna (maximum height 50'), radio equipment, solar panel, and power cells mounted on a skid. The power cells are enclosed and secured inside leak proof cases. The skid is approximately 10' long by 5' wide. The skid and antennae would be secured to the ground by means of a guy-cable anchoring system consisting of approximately 4 to 6 guy cables fastened to 4 to 6 tote type containers, that are filled with locally available rocks. Each tote is approximately 45" wide x 30" long x 30" tall.

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.
