Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Matanuska Telephone Association, Inc. (MTA) filed TA205-999 seeking to revise its Carrier of Last Resort (COLR) support levels. The filing was submitted in accordance with regulations adopted in Order No. R-08-003(8)/R-09-003(4) that implemented the COLR support mechanism.
MTA proposes a monthly COLR support amount of $309,126, which is an increase from the current amount of $268,422. The monthly COLR support amounts are intended to help carriers meet their Carrier Common Line revenue requirements and will be paid out of the Alaska Universal Service Fund.
This notice does not contain all requested revisions and the Commission may approve a rate or classification which varies from those proposed.
