PUBLIC NOTICE
REGARDING DISPOSAL OF MUNICIPAL TRUST LAND IN NELSON LAGOON, ALASKA
BY THE MUNICIPAL LANDS TRUSTEE
In accordance with A.S. 44.33.755 and 3 AAC 190.460(1) the Municipal Land Trust Officer, acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, is considering the granting of a deed to the Native Village of Nelson Lagoon for the following described lands:
The surface estate, including improvements thereon, of that certain real property located in Section 30, Township 48 South, Range 76 West and Section 25, Township 48 South, Range 77 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska, being situated in the Native village of Nelson Lagoon, Alaska, within the Aleutian Islands Recording District, 3rd Judicial District, State of Alaska, more particularly described as Lot 21 of the Nelson Lagoon ANCSA 14(c) Survey Plat recorded in the Aleutian Islands Recording District as Plat 92-24 on June 16, 1992, containing 2.38 acres more or less.
The Nelson Lagoon Tribal Council, the recognized appropriate village entity for the village of Nelson Lagoon, adopted a resolution approving the deed on October 25, 2017.
This notice is being posted and published in accordance with the requirements of 3 AAC 190.420 and .910.
The public is invited to comment on the proposed conveyance.

Following the comment deadline, all responses will be reviewed and the Commissioner’s decision on this matter may be modified as a result of information received.
