Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the Board of Barbers and Hairdressers

On October 9, 2017, the Board of Barbers and Hairdressers adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 09 of the Alaska Administrative Code.  The regulations concern licensure, application requirements, training hours, school license and curriculum, student permits, and apprentices.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on March 6, 2018, and will go into effect on April 5, 2018.  See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 226, July 2018 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
