NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Newtok Airport Relocation Design Services
RFP No. 25182048

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional design services for a new Community Class airport to support the village of Newtok at the relocation site of Mertarvik. Services shall include bid-ready plans, specifications, and estimate (PS&E) for the new airport and access roads.  Design Services will include engineering, environmental, geotechnical, survey, planning, right-of-way (ROW) base mapping, hydrology, utilities design, assistance during bidding and construction, and as-built drawings.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately May 2018 through September 2022.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be greater than $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available February 26, 2018, and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at  before . Persons residing outside the general vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by phoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than March 19, 2018, 4:00 PM prevailing time.
