Notice of adopted changes to the Regulations regarding the Administration of Elections

Filing notification attached.

On January 9, 2018, the Division of Elections adopted regulation changes to Title 6, Chapter 25 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations cover elections administration, amended versions of the Guide for Poll watchers and the Registrar's Handbook adopted by reference, voter registrations received by mail, how a candidate’s name will appear on the ballot and official election pamphlet material submission deadlines so that the material can be translated in Alaska Native Languages in time for publishing.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on January 11, 2018, and will go into effect on February 10, 2018. Please see attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
