Tanana Valley State Forest Citizens’ Advisory Committee to Meet

The Tanana Valley State Forest Citizens’ Advisory Committee will meet in Fairbanks to discuss forestry issues on Thursday, January 25, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Large Conference Room in the Department of Natural Resources building, located at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, Alaska. This committee advises the Division on plans and proposals for managing the 1.8 million acre Tanana Valley State Forest, along with other forested state-owned lands within the Tanana Valley. The public is invited to attend. Public testimony will be accepted during the meeting.

The agenda will include the following topics:

  • Division of Forestry Update
  • Forestry Updates for Delta, Fairbanks, and Tok
  • Public Comments
  • Member Comments
