The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration, is soliciting comments on a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for a proposed project to rehabilitate the Toksook Bay Airport, airport access road, and associated facilities. The purpose of the proposed project is to rehabilitate the Toksook Bay Airport, Airport Access Road, and associated facilities and to bring the runway safety area (RSA) and taxiway safety area (TSA) to current design standards.

Hard copies of the Draft EA are available for public review at the Toksook Bay City Clerk’s Office, the ARLIS Library in Anchorage, and the DOT&PF Central Region Aviation or Preliminary Design and Engineering sections.
A Public Hearing to address public comments on the Draft EA is not planned at this time. If you would like to request a Public Hearing, please submit your request to DOT&PF by January 31, 2018.
