ADL 232974: Private Non-Exclusive Easement Allison Creek Hydro Project Valdez, Alaska

Applicant: Copper Valley Electric Association, Inc. (CVEA)

Pursuant to Alaska Statue 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW), Southcentral Regional Office is considering a request from CVEA for a private non-exclusive easement for an existing access road that provides access between the Trans-Alaska Pipeline (TAPS) and the Allison Creek power project near Valdez, Alaska. The project is located generally north and east of the TAPS export terminal, within:

Section 17, 19, 20 and 29 of Township 9 South, Range 6 West, Copper River Meridian, Alaska.

The requested easement would be approximately 12,100 feet in length and would occupy approximately 14.85 acres of State land. If approved, this easement would be held by CVEA.
Members of the public and interested parties are invited to comment on this project. DMLW must receive comments no later than 5:00 pm February 9, 2018. In order to be given full consideration, all comments should be in writing and should clearly explain the facts on which they are based and how they pertain to the requested easement.
