Delegation of Authority- Administering Municipal Trust Lands

In accordance with AS 44.17.010 and 3 AAC 190.930, and subject to the limitations and conditions set forth herein, the authority and responsibility for administering municipal trust lands pursuant to AS 44.33.755 and 3 AAC Chapter 190 is delegated to Katherine Eldemar, Director of the Division of Community and Regional Affairs.

 

This delegation of authority is subject to the following:

 

  1. All actions taken by the Director of the Division of Community and Regional Affairs are subject to general direction and review by the Commissioner at the latter's discretion.

 

  1. The Commissioner retains the authority to modify, reverse, or affirm any decision or action of the Director of the Division of Community and Regional Affairs which is appealed to him pursuant to 3 AAC 190.940.

 

  1. No authority or responsibility delegated to  the Director  of  the Division  of  Community  and Regional Affairs may be re-delegated by her; provided that designation of a chairman pro tempore to preside over any meeting of village residents under 3 AAC 190.230 does not constitute a reĀ­ delegation  of authority.

 

The effective date of the delegation of authority is the date of execution as shown below.
