The Northern Region State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DEPARTMENT), Division of Preconstruction Services, Design Section is soliciting professional engineering services for the Parks Highway MP 183-192 Reconstruction project. The project purpose is to correct substandard curves and replace the East Fork Chulitna River Bridge. Services will include contract administration, document review & site visit, design study report, preliminary engineering, Review PS&E and Final PS&E, preparation of bid documents, support during bidding, and support during construction.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately January 2018 through December 2020. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 and $1,000,000.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available NOVEMBER 15, 2017, and may be downloaded from our web site at: http://www.dot.state.ak.us/procurement/prosvcs/index.shtml; then click on “Request for Proposals over:” under the Requests for Proposals heading. Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at the Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska. Persons residing outside the City of Fairbanks may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 451-2247 or TDD (907) 451-2363 (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment). There is no charge for the RFP package.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received at the address indicated on the RFP no later than DECEMBER 7, 2017, 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.
