NOTICE OF PIPELINE APPLICATION
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Cook Inlet Pipe Line Company (CIPL) filed an application on October 27, 2017, seeking approval to transfer Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 303 to Cook Inlet Pipe Line, LLC to provide crude oil transportation services. Docket No. P-17-010 was opened to address this matter.
CIPL states that the purpose of the application is to approve the conversion of CIPL from a Delaware corporation to a Delaware limited liability company to achieve tax savings and administrative efficiencies. CIPL also states that the conversion of the companies will not affect any issues related to Commission regulation or provision of service to customers.
In conjunction with its application, in accordance with 3 AAC 48.625(a)(7)(D), CIPL filed a request for waiver of the requirement to include audited financial statements for the two most recent fiscal years preceding the date of the application. In lieu of the audited financial statements, CIPL has included copies of its most recent two years of annual reports filed with the Commission. Any interested person wishing to file a response to the request for waiver must do so by 5:00 p.m., November 27, 2017.
No petition for confidentiality was filed with this application. The Commission has not assessed the completeness of the application or ruled on the motion for waiver. The Commission will rule on the motion for waiver and determine whether the application is complete by December 27, 2017.
