Sealed bids for Juneau Pioneer Home WSI & MSC Tub Rooms Renovation, Program Number 2501000021, will be received until 2:00 p.m., December 13, 2017 in the main conference room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.
This State funded project includes the renovation of the Juneau Pioneer Home’s Mountainside Cottage (MSC) and Waterside Inn (WSI) Tub Rooms. The renovation includes demolition of the existing MSC and WSI tub rooms and rooms adjacent to the existing WSI tub room. The project includes construction of new showers, reinstalling existing tubs, new towel warmer cabinets, hampers, and shelves. The existing floors, walls, and ceilings will be renovated. New mechanical and electrical will be incorporated. The existing Physical Therapy Room will be renovated as a temporary tub room, with equipment from MSC tub room located there until the completion of new tub rooms. There are two (2) additive alternates. Additive Alternate 1: Includes renovation of existing MSC Kitchenette to include small oven, induction cooktop, upper cabinets, and coffee service counter. Additive Alternate 2: Includes renovation of existing MSC Nurse’s station to include new desk, cabinets, medicine dispensing cabinet, wall, and ceiling treatments.
The Engineer's Estimate is between $200,000 and $500,000. The Project substantial completion date will be 180 Calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for November 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. The Juneau Pioneer Home is located at 4675 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska. Meet in the main entrance lobby to be escorted through the work areas.

Your fax must include your company name, contact name, mailing address, phone and fax number, and whether your company is registering as a General Contractor, Subcontractor or Supplier. You may not change or alter the downloaded bidding forms in any way. Electronic bids will not be accepted.
Bidding documents may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
