Sealed bids for Stratton Building Adaptive Reuse & Renovation – Phase II, Program Number RSA0520243, will be received until 2:00 p.m., October 27, 2017 in the main conference room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.
This State funded project includes the interior renovation of the mezzanine for DEED/LAM’s Sheldon Jackson Museum’s Stratton Building. The Renovation includes structural upgrades, infill for a large opening in the mezzanine floor, relocation of two totemic panels, enclosing the mezzanine with walls, replacement of doors and hardware, and new lighting. Additive Alternate No. 1 includes sidewalk upgrades, deck replacement and exterior door replacement. Additive Alternate No. 2 includes floor joist upgrades.
The Engineer's Estimate is less than $200,000. The Project substantial completion date will be 180 Calendar days from Notice to Proceed. A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for September 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. The Stratton Building is at the corner of Lincoln Street and College Drive, Sitka, Alaska. Meet in the main entry near the parking area at the north side of the building.

Your fax must include your company name, contact name, mailing address, phone and fax number, and whether your company is registering as a General Contractor, Subcontractor or Supplier. You may not change or alter the downloaded bidding forms in any way. Electronic bids will not be accepted.
Bidding documents may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
