Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Region Land Office has received an application for the following:

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
On Colony Glacier at the southwest end of Inner Lake George.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Sections 26, 35 & 36 of Township 014 North, Range 005 East, Seward Meridian.
Sections 1 & 2 of Township 013 North, Range 005 East, Seward Meridian.
REQUESTED ACTIVITY:
Applicant is requesting to close an area surrounding the site of a downed aircraft to collect the human remains and debris from the site.
PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: September 2017
End: September 2022
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: September 4, 2017
The public is invited to comment on the proposed activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 550 West 7th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue a permit with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
