Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Office has received an application for the following:

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
Between the Dalton Hwy, at approximately milepost 355, and the Trans Alaska Pipeline. The site is situated below a bluff on the west side of the Sagavanirktok River.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Within Umiat Meridian, Township 1 North, Range 14 East, Section 26
REQUESTED ACTIVITY:
Installation of snow fences and application of fertilizer as part of a research project to assess effects of snow and fertilization on Siberian alder growth.
PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: August 25, 2017
End: August 24, 2022
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: August 23, 2017 by 5:00 pm
The public is invited to comment on the proposed activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK 99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue a permit with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
