Supplemental Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
On June 23, 2017, the REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) issued a public notice for TA150-117. With TA150-117, ACS of Fairbanks, LLC d/b/a Alaska Communications Systems, Alaska Communications, ACS Local Service, and ACS (ACS-F) is seeking to revise its Carrier of Last Resort support levels.
Immediately prior to issuing notice on June 23, 2017, ACS-F filed a petition for confidentiality (petition) requesting that three types of information in “Exhibit DCB-3” be classified as confidential. Specifically ACS-F seeks confidentiality of 1) ACS-F’s costs from its FCC broadband cost model, 2) the number of locations in census blocks served by ACS-F, in total and by census block, and 3) local and wholesale revenue data. The June 23, 2017 public notice did not address the petition. Through this supplemental notice, the Commission provides opportunity to comment on the petition.
