Notice of Utility Tariff Filings
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that non-pooling local exchange carriers: Cordova Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (CTC); Mukluk Telephone Company, Inc. (MUKLUK); Interior Telephone Company, Inc. (ITC); Ketchikan Public Utilities, Inc. (KPU); Arctic Slope Telephone Association Cooperative, Inc. (ASTAC); and Copper Valley Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (CVTC) have filed tariff revisions (collectively "the filings") to revise their Carrier of Last Resort (COLR) support. The filings were submitted in accordance with regulations adopted in Order No. R-08-003(8)/R-09-003(4) that implemented the COLR support mechanism.
The filings include proposed COLR support amounts. The monthly COLR support amounts are intended to help carriers meet their Carrier Common Line revenue requirements and will be paid through the Alaska Universal Service Fund. The following table displays each carrier's requested COLR support amounts, calculated in accordance with 3 AAC 53.345(e).
